The Evergreen assisted-living property required coordinated subterranean, foundation and deck waterproofing to address moisture reaching interior finishes.
The Waterproofing Challenge
Underground water was affecting floors, door frames and other building components. The solution needed to manage water before it contacted the structure.
Work Completed
- Investigated the source and direction of subsurface water.
- Excavated where needed to reach the affected foundation.
- Installed drainage to redirect underground moisture.
- Waterproofed the lower structure and vulnerable transitions.
- Coordinated related deck protection.
Project Outcome
The completed work created a more effective drainage path and a protective barrier between subsurface moisture and the building.
