A commercial complex in Long Beach needed approximately 5,000 square feet of pond surfaces sealed against continuous water exposure.
The Waterproofing Challenge
Decorative ponds require a continuous waterproof barrier while the final surface must also complement the surrounding landscape.
Work Completed
- Inspected the pond structure and prepared the substrate.
- Repaired vulnerable joints and surface defects.
- Installed a continuous waterproofing system.
- Detailed edges and penetrations exposed to water.
- Applied a natural-looking protective topcoat.
